Originally from Easley, South Carolina, Kristy attended Clemson University where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology. Her education continued at the University of South Carolina School of Law where she participated in numerous extracurricular activities including a clerkship with the Senate and an internship with the Honorable Joseph F. Anderson.

Kristy began her legal career at the Richland County Public Defender’s office where she represented individuals charged with various offenses ranging from traffic and drug charges to violent crimes such as Burglary, Rape and Murder. Since that time, Kristy has handled criminal matters in both General Sessions and Magistrate’s Court, civil cases in both Common Pleas and Magistrate’s Court, and numerous matters in Family Court.

Kristy’s experience has led her to be extremely familiar with both South Carolina law and your rights as a citizen. Throughout her career, Kristy has built valuable relationships and has cultivated a true desire to help her clients make sure that their best interests are being protected.
